Looking up into the sky at night allows for a unique perspective at just how small we are in the entire everything. Look at the amount of space you take up on Earth and its negligible to the mass as a whole. Now pull back to see that it’s not even the largest planet, by far, in our solar system. Now keep removing yourself and look at how small our sun is in comparisons to other stars. We are smaller than a spec of sand in comparison to the earth, than we are as a person compared to the universe. Now take a look at what kind of an insignificant blip we are in time. We aren’t even a significant enough blip if you look at the beginning of existence, of the human species as a whole. When you pull far enough back and understand just how little time you have and what you are really able to affect, it should be very clear that the things we prioritize should be important to us. We are here for just a blip on the radar so might as well make that count. Work hard to make the impact that will stand out from what would otherwise be the mundane insignificance of choosing to just exist. To just survive or make the choice to thrive?
