Marketing is funny sometimes. If I say, grab some party mix or something of the sort, you would immediately know what I was talking about. The way we have been conditioned to associate certain words or phrases with a product is one thing. How we associate certain words or phrasing as a pro and con for use in branding is something completely different. Being on brand is important for companies so they maintain a clear image of what they represent or rather, wish to present to the public. Looking at it like that, we can take a few steps back and look at who we are through the lens of our public brand. What do you present to the rest of the world that shows who you are or what you’re about? The posts on social media or the logos you wear on your clothes. Maybe its about the car or motorcycle you show up in or what you drink. The food you eat or the tattoos you have that people can see. For some people, this is a very thought out and meticulous part of their lives, with others it’s very obvious that it isn’t even an after thought. Maybe, that’s part of who you are or want to be. What do you think? How do you present yourself to the world? Is it what people are really seeing? Are you on brand?
