There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t lose track of time at one point of the day or the other. Sometimes, it may be when I’m heads down writing and getting into the flow of what I’m working on. Other times, it may be turning a wrench and losing myself in the job. My favorite is when I’m deep into a conversation with someone, and what we’re talking through is just pure value-added to the way I see things. The worst is when time stands still, seeming to go backwards almost. I suppose time really is relative when it comes to the things we love and get lost in or hate and try to avoid. Is your day more event driven or time driven? How many meeting do you have a day? When is the last time you lost complete track of time or wished something would end already? With the little amount of time we have on this piece of dirt, it’s important to not just fill our time, but to fill our time with things that help us grow and cherish. For the sake of time and a short read, I will end this one early today.
