There is a theme around a lot of bars and a few resturants around their policy on animals, dogs in particular. I like to think that there is an animal awakening that the new generation seems to be pushing. A dog isn’t this dirty, flea infested beast that is there to tear up the kitchen and break all the glassware. It’s only a matter of time until dogs are breed into good table maners and the kind of disposition you would expect from a young gentleman or lady. It’s kind of cool how we are inviting our furry family out with us to enjoy and conquer the world as the trusted allies they are. Imagine if everyone treated their kids with as much dignity and attention as they do their pets. Although, I do suppose that this is one of the reasons people are not having kids at the same rate as previous generations. At what point will the big shift in society, in regard to the average kid to pet ratio of a family, be so extreme that everything is expected to be dog friendly? I’m all about it. In fact, I like dogs I’ve only met once better than some people I’ve known for years. What about you? Is a dog just a dog? Is there a noticible change in the allowance of dogs, and the normalcy that comes with it, already present in our daily lives?
