Looking at the different diets out there for all of the different species in the world really helps to put the diversity of what is edible into perspective. One of the amazing things is how we understand and just know what kinds of foods we need in our diet. One of the bigger influences and ways we develop our eating habits is growing up and seeing what the people around us eat and feed us. We carry these habits into adulthood and remember the meals we had during holidays. We can connect food to memories and assign certain types of food and traditions to a variety of different dishes and how they are served. Body types are hereditary for a few different reasons and one of those is food type and portion control. As a child, I could remember people eating to excess and seeing their kids just as motivated to finish their over served plates as their parents. The kids that always ate out, still do, and with noticeable impact to their health and size. Some adults are adventurous eaters and some are stuck in chicken tenders and fries mode. One thing I know is that no mater what you like or dislike, you will always crave what your body needs. Isn’t it awesome how our bodies can tell us what we need? We get and appetite for the kinds of foods our body has associated with certain types of nutrients and sustenance. What kinds of food do you crave for certain reasons. What food do you associate with certain events. Looking back into your childhood, do you eat like you did growing up or still make certain dishes that you loved? Why is that?
